![]() ![]() The last shade is definitely something that darker-skinned women will love, so it was very thoughtful of NYX to make a shade for all skin tones since many palettes typically tend to cater to lighter complexions. The matte soft brown is a close dupe of Benefit Hoola. My personal favourites are the matte soft yellow (which is incredible for highlighting the under-eyes) and the matte taupe (which is the most perfect contour shade). (1) Ice Queen – Pearly White toned powder with shimmer (2) Soft Light – Nude toned matte powder (3) Cream – Matte Banana powder (4) Nectar – Peach toned powder with shimmer (5) Tan – Soft Brown satin finish powder with reddish undertones (6) Toffee – Warm Neutral Brown powder with satin (7) Sculpt – True Matte Taupe (8) Hollow – Deep Matte Brown. The pans pop right off if you want to take any out of the palette, so you don’t have to worry about breaking the product or anything.Ĭolor: There are 8 shades of powder in this palette. Other than that, there’s not much to say or complain about. One flaw about the packaging is probably the lack of names for each shade because it’s going to difficult to differentiate among them when it comes to refilling. The pans come in a standard plastic palette, which is quite bulky, so I am not sure how pleasant it will be to travel with. Inside the palette, there are 8 pans containing different shades of powders for effective contouring and highlighting. Packaging: The NYX Contour and Highlight Palette comes in a paper cardboard kind of box with detailed instructions about the palette. I don’t own the ABH Contour Palette, or any other palette for that matter, but I was always amidst questions like, should I purchase a high-end contour palette? What if it does not work out for me? Is the KVD better than the ABH palette? But when NYX launched its comparatively affordable contour and highlight palette, it was a no-brainer that I grabbed it immediately. ![]() I am not here to demean any high-end contour palette, but I am here to tell you my honest opinion.
